I am a nationally certified massage therapist specializing in Orthopedic Massage and Crossfiber Corrective Muscle Therapy®.  My passion is helping people who have problems with acute or chronic pain and injury. I have maintained a full time massage therapy practice in Champaign, Illinois since moving here from Pennsylvania in 1996.

I have been nationally certified since the inception of NCBTMB in 1993 and am a professional member of AMTA. I am also state licensed in Illinois.

In 1995 I became a certified practitioner of Crossfiber Corrective Muscle Therapy® (formerly Pfrimmer Deep Muscle Therapy) at the PA School of Muscle Therapy where I studied with the gifted master teacher Victoria Ross. Before moving to Illinois, I did an ‘internship’ at the Deep Muscle Therapy Clinic in King of Prussia, PA, known for treating clients with serious muscle problems and diseases.

Because of my interest in treating chronic pain and injuries I had always wanted to study with Dr. Ben Benjamin. When he offered a two year workshop series in Chicago, I jumped at the opportunity to study Soft Tissue Assessment and Treatment (aka Orthopedic Massage) with this renowned teacher. After completing a two year training, I continued an in depth study in a two year teacher training program with Dr. Benjamin and became a certified teacher of the Benjamin Advanced Training in 2002.

Questions are welcome. I invite you to contact me at (217) 359-9331 or send an email through my contact page to start on the path to a healthier and more pain-free life.
